Candle Safety

1. The candles should always burn at least until the entire burner plate has become liquid. Otherwise they will start to tunnel, which is not desirable.
2. Do not let the candle burn for more than 2 hours at a time. This will help to prevent the fragrance oil from evaporating too quickly. And of course, it will also help to prevent the glass from heating up too much, otherwise it could crack.
3. Don't leave the burning candle unattended. That's logical, right? Oh, and always keep it away from children, pets and, most importantly, curtains! In general, just make sure there is nothing easily flammable nearby.
4. It is best not to place the candle in a draft. Then the candle will not burn down too quickly and will not produce soot.
5. Allow the candle to solidify before lighting it again.
6. If black smoke appears, simply cut off the tip of the wick. Shorten the wick to half a centimeter - that's enough and you'll get more out of your candle.
7. Always protect the table or surface on which the candle is standing (for example with a ceramic bowl). And make sure that the candle is standing on a stable surface. And make sure that your candles are not burning too close to one another or one below the other.
8. Don't let the candle burn down completely. 1 cm of wax is great. Otherwise the glass will heat up too much and could crack.
9. Store your candle in a dry, moderately warm environment, between 15 and 26°C.
10. The first use of your candle should be within two months.
